The Rams came East to Carolina in week 13 with the Panthers winning a tight one 31-28 as Young threw for three touchdowns and 206 passing yards. Stafford had a pair of touchdowns but also two interceptions and a fumble along with just 243 yards passing. Stafford had just eight interceptions all season and has a shot at MVP being tops in passing yards with over 4,700 and also first in touchdown passes with 46. Stafford ended with a four touchdown game so is entering these playoffs hot. Young on the other hand went 24 of 35 against Tampa Bay 266 yards, two touchdowns and one interception but it was in a 16-14 loss but got in and got this game thanks to Atlanta win. Carolina lost their last two games, finished 8-9 on the year, 5-3 at home, 6-6 in conference games and had a -69 point differential. The Rams went 12-5, 5-4 on the road, 7-5 in conference games and have a +172 point differential. The Rams were tied for the best record against the spread at 12-5 with Seattle and Jacksonville and Carolina was 10-7 against the spread on the season. The Rams are 4-2 against the spread as a road favorite while Carolina was 5-2 as a home underdog. The Rams and Stafford are looking for revenge and they are too veteran to make the same mistakes as their earlier loss in the regular season as Stafford throws no interceptions, for over 300 yards and three touchdowns as he welcomes Adams back who has two of the touchdowns in a 34-20 win for the Rams.
