Today’s matchup though is all about the pitchers, as Michael Grove and Tyler Wells are scheduled to start. Grove is 1-2 with a 6.89 ERA. In his last outing against the Angels, the right-hander allowed four runs on six hits in six innings of relief. And when on the mound on the road, he is 0-1 with a whopping 11.15 ERA. Wells on the other hand, is 7-4 with a 3.18 ERA. In his last outing, the right-hander held the Twins to two runs on six hits over six innings. Wells has allowed fewer than three earned runs 12 times in his 17 starts this season. As I mentioned earlier, its all about the pitchers, and Wells is the hotter and better pitcher in this matchup.
