Game 958. 4:05 PM PST/7:05 PM EST. Several uncharacteristic things happened to the New York Yankees over the last several days. For starters, they were swept by the Boston Red Sox on the road, 3-0. Next, Aaron Judge had his worst performance in a series this season. While New York still owns a 3.5-game lead in the competitive American League East (42-28), they need to start putting up some victories. What better team to face than the Los Angeles Angels. Los Angeles dwells in fourth place in the American League West, 7.5-games back, at 33-37. They take it on the road here to Yankee Stadium. This does not bode well either, my friends as the Angels are just 18-21 as a visitor season, while the Yankees are 21-12 at home. If you look at the statistics, they all favor NY. They score significantly more offensively, while they're pitching staff overall is significantly better. Speaking of pitching, Jose Soriano and Clark Schmidt are scheduled here today. There is no question the New York right-hander has been more consistent than the Los Angeles right-hander. I feel the Yankees need to get back on track, and today they do just that. If this line was a little bit lower, I would've put it out as a premium play. But a win is a win is a win. Take New York. Thank you.
