This is a free play on TEX. At first glance this looks like it might be a fairly even matchup, but the deeper you dig into it the more it looks like a clear mismatch. While Texas has just one more conference win, and two more overall wins, all wins are not created equally. The Longhorns played one of the toughest schedules in the country (16th), and eight of their 11 losses came against ranked teams. The Longhorns are ranked 25th in NET ranking, compared to the Wildcats ranking of 70th. The Wildcats have some impressive wins, beating Kansas, Baylor, Iowa State and BYU. All those wins came at home, and they were just 2-8 on the road. The Longhorns rank second in the BIG12 behind Texas Tech, with a free throw percentage of 75.7.
