Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs vs. New Orleans Saints

The Kansas City Chiefs head to the Superdome to take on the Saints in week one NFL Preseason action. The Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions and despite going undefeated last year in the preseason we are not going to be looking for them to take things too seriously in the exhibition slate. KC has some unknowns behind entrenched second string QB Blaine Gabbert and with effectively everything on the offensive side of the ball decided there isn’t a lot this squad is trying to figure out in the preseason. The Saints are coming off a seven win season but went out and got Derek Carr and are hoping that he can get them over the hump. New Orleans has an extremely capable backup in Jameis Winston and while he might not get many reps in this game if he does I expect him to put the ball in the endzone. Taysom Hill is an extremely effective athlete if not a usual QB and while Jake Haener is a rookie I am hoping that he can at least keep from giving the ball away in his snaps. Take the Saints and the QB depth in this preseason game as they have much more to play for and much more to figure out whereas the Chiefs are not in a position to care about the preseason at all and will simply be focused on getting through this without any injuries. Take the New Orleans Saints on Sunday!
