Iowa picked up a solid bounce back win this past week on the road getting past Minnesota by a final of 48-31. Iowa is heading into the second leg of a back to back road trip which is never easy, especially in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes fell in their conference opener at home to Wisconsin by a final of 17-28 and on the year Iowa stands 71st in the nation in scoring compared to 13th in total defense. Indiana hung around with Ohio State for about a half in their outing this past week on the road, but the Hoosiers weren’t able to keep pace in the second half of their 26-49 defeat to the Buckeyes. Indiana stands 4-2 on the year with some of their better wins coming out of conference against Virginia and FIU. Indiana seems to be heading in a positive direction under head coach Tom Allen and to take the next step in the Big Ten the Hoosiers need to be tough on their home field. Indiana has shown positive signs this season, and given Iowa is on the second leg of a back to back road trip, we like the Hoosiers to stay competitive here at home and this was almost a TOP PLAY for us. Very good value!
