No more pretending that the recent defensive effort overshadows any problems Iowa State has - they have struggled with putting the ball in the cup - and will have an issue with that here. Miami's Kameron McGusty has really gotten better, as his points/game and FG% are both nice improvements from last year. Miami can warm up really quick on both sides of the court - as they have shown. They knocked off USC and Auburn over the last 2 games, both games where nobody thought they stood a chance. If Iowa State could get better shooting the ball - they absolutely could win this game. The Canes will be able to keep the Cyclones off rhythm, with their nasty pickpocketing defense - it's going to be tough. Miami just has so many guys who can pilfer the ball and get extra possessions for them. Miami wins by 6-12 pts.
