The Caitlyn Clarkless Fever are taking some steam after winning 5 straight since July 24th. The Sparks have arguably been the hotter team though, the Sparks have gone 6-1 over their last seven. The Fever are known for their fasted pace and high octane offense but the Sparks are actually averaging more points per game than the Fever, 85.5 to 85.1. Indiana remains short handed while the Sparks are finally healthy. C The Sparks have won two of the three previous meetings this season—the latest a razor-thin 89-87 win where Stevens and Plum combined for 41 points. Indiana’s only win was early in the season with a healthy Clark. Plum seems to have a chip on her shoulder always shows up against the Fever. The Sparks opened up as a -1.5 favorite in this game and I think that line is correct. The Fever could definitely run and gun their way around the Crypto.com Arena, but the Sparks should not be a home underdog here.
