Cincinnati wants to come out early and push hard to let Houston know they are here to play - they haven't gotten the respect they probably should be getting and they need to prove something here. As long as the Bearcats can keep the ball - picking up steady early 1st downs and keep the Houston defense breathing heavily - it will affect this game. Alec Pierce is a really good WR, picking up almost 17 / catch - he is going to be a nightmare for the Houston DBs to handle. The offense of Houston can get stalled - when they can't pass the ball they tend to force plays at times. Houston might have to pass a little more here to get the ball moving versus the Bearcats. This game is going to be a test for the Cougars - while Cincinnati is going to want to show they deserve their spot.
