Houston comes into this game fresh off a close win over the Clippers and ay 16-8 have plenty to feel good about through the first 22 games of the season. In that win the Rockets did have a lot of trouble slowing down Zubac as he put up 33 points against them and now they have to figure out how to deal with Jokic. The Rockets biggest problem might be their lack of a legitimate PG as the absence of VanVleet is being keenly felt. Denver comes into this game fresh off a fourth straight win but this will be by far the toughest opponent they will face over that stretch. Jokic has been at an insanely high level all season long and there have even been some games recently where Jamal Murray went nuts and put up All-Star numbers. Depth can be a problem for this squad but it’s a problem that is confronting Houston right now as well. Take Denver at home as our free pick on this one. I fully expect a monster game from Jokic and even if Murray has a bad time being defended by Amen Thompson I think Denver will take care of business at home.
