Game 457. 10:00 AM PST/1:00 PM EST. There are many in the sports world that will consider the Green Bay Packers the best team in the NFL right now. They came out of the gate to win and cover two games against teams that are considered some of the better teams in the NFL. They took down the Detroit Lions with authority in their season-opener at home, 27-13, then also at home, shredded the Washington Commanders, 27-18. It's true, they take to the road for the first time this season. But this team has been controlling the line of scrimmage, and believe it or not seem to be getting better as each game progresses, scoring most of their points late in the game. Granted they're not the greatest ATS as a road favorite. But this is a different Packers team this season. They also come into this matchup knowing they have won the last four meetings with the Cleveland Browns. Ok, the most recent meeting was in 2021, and then before the 2017, but they will still come in this game with confidence. Speaking of the Browns, what can you say? Going back to last November, this team has won just once, going 1-8 since November of last season, and also 0-2 so far this season. When it comes to covering the number, they're just about as bad. They opened up their campaign with a decent showing at home covering a 4.5-pointspread against the Cincinnati Bengals, only to lose, 17-16. They then got blown out last week on the road at the Baltimore Ravens, 41- 17. Their offense is absolutely atrocious, while their defense has looked decent in certain situations. Yes, they top the league in total yards allowed and rushing yards are allowed, while ranking third in passing yards allowed. But they have also allowed 29.0 points per game. Try to figure that one out, my friends (LOL). They haven't snagged any turnovers either. Which is ironic because their offense has coughed the ball up four times already. Jordan Love has the luxury of a well-balanced offense at his disposal. I feel the way they play, they will wear down the Cleveland defense. On the flipside, the Green Bay defense has been absolutely outstanding, yielding just 15.5 points per game against what is considered some of the better offenses in the league. The addition of Micah parsons is huge. That rank third in total yards allowed, 10th in passing yards allowed, and rank second in rushing yards allowed. They do have a road game in Dallas next. But I don't see them in a look ahead situation here. It's the beginning of the season, and this team wants to keep their foot on the gas. If this line was a touchdown or under, I would've definitely put this out as a premium play. Take the Green Bay Packers. Thank you.
