The Detroit Tigers dominated Milwaukee in the series on Monday, winning 9-1. The Milwaukee Brewers have been able to put a 5-5 record together in their last 10 match-ups. The Brewers will face another tough pitching match-up tonight though and it might be another tough start. The Milwaukee Brewers will send out Quinn Priester in this game. Priester is 0-0 with a 1.8 ERA and 4 strikeouts this season. I'm not too impressed with his stuff. He's got a mediocre sinker and the fastball doesn't do a whole lot. Not too high of a ceiling for Quinn. Coming out on Tuesday for the Detroit Tigers is right-hander starting pitcher Jack Flaherty. Detroit has the luxury of basically having two aces this yuear. Flaherty has been masterful in his last 89.33 innings against the Milwaukee Brewers posting a 4-6 record with a 3.85 ERA. Joey Ortiz, Jackson Chourio, Garrett Mitchell, Sal Frelick, William Contreras, Brice Turang, Rhys Hoskins have combined to go 7 for 35 when taking on Jack Flaherty. The Detroit Tigers have gone 5-1 when playing NL-Central opponents this season. The Milwaukee Brewers have not been good playing winning teams this year, with a 1-4 record in their last 5. Detroit's offense start cooking last night and I could see that again again Quinn.
