The LA Kings are just back home from a seven-game trip which concluded with three straight victories, at Buffalo, Chicago and Winnipeg, but I think they'll come up short here when they host the Dallas Stars Thursday night. 

Dallas will be looking to avoid getting swept on this three-game California road trip after losses at San Jose and Anaheim. The Stars will play on no rest, but it's a tough spot for the Kings as well as they'll play their third game in four nights.

The Kings are just 4-10 in their last 14 vs. a team with a winning record, and we can note that the Stars are 4-1 in the last five meetings in LA. I think we're getting a very attractive price on the road team in this contest.
