Utah comes in off a tough loss to rival BYU and will be looking to bounce back, but there are still some question marks at quarterback. Devon Dampier injured his ankle in that game, and if he can’t go, freshman Byrd Ficklin will get the nod. Ficklin has been sharp in limited action, perfect passing so far and dangerous with his legs, but this is a big spot for a young player and the Utes in general. On the other side, Colorado comes in rested and confident after an impressive win over Iowa State two weeks ago. The bye week gave them plenty of time to prepare for this border rivalry, and you can bet Coach Prime will have his team ready to go.
