Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Colorado Rockies vs. Houston Astros

Play: Point Spread: -1.5/-160 Houston Astros
**72.2% MLB DOUBLE PLAY TODAY**I have a BIG WINNER on the diamond for us today in my 13-5 MLB DOUBLE PLAY. Join me and together we will make Tuesday a PAYDAY! Tuesday’s FREE WINNER: Houston Astros on the run line. Game 928. 5:10 PM PST/8:10 PM EST. Don't look now, but the once large lead the Houston Astros had in American League West, has shrunk to just 1.5-games ahead of the Seattle Mariners. With approximately 30-games remaining in the regular season, the Astros must put their foot on the gas, and keep it there. They face a Colorado Rockies team that not just owns the worst record in baseball, it is also a team they have had their way with. The Astros have taken eight of the last 10 meetings with the Rockies. By the way, only one of those eight victories has come by a single run. Having said that, as I mentioned earlier the Rockies possess the worst record in baseball. They also own the worst road record in baseball as well, going 16-49 away from home this season. Things are not looking too good for them here either, my friends. They enter this matchup dropping four in a row, being outscored during that slide by a combined 27-6. Their lineup has not produced, and their pitching staff literally ranks the worst in the Majors. They rank 30th in team ERA (6.00), 30th IN WHIP (1.61), 29th in K/G (9.29), and 30th IN quality starts (26). Oh, by the way, they also rank 29th in errors committed (99). That would be enough. But their offense is near the bottom in just about every major category, including scoring where they rank 29th, averaging a dismal 3.75 runs per game. As far as pitching goes today, Tanner Gordon and Hunter Brown are scheduled. The Colorado rookie right-hander is 4-5 with a 7.11 ERA on the campaign. This is his first ever career appearance against Houston. But in Interleague starts, he is an ugly 1-5 with a whopping ERA of 10.08. The Astros right-hander is 10-5 with a 2.36 ERA on the season, and in three career starts against the Rockies, he is 2-1 with a 3.12 ERA. On a sidenote, not that it should be any surprise, but Colorado is just 9-30 in Interleague play this season. This team is just horrible, folks. I feel the Astros bats are going to come alive here and explode, while their pitching staff takes care of the rest. If this line would've been lower, I would've taken them on the money line. But I can't lay that type of wood. I do feel they will win by more than two runs. So, take the Houston Astros on the runline. Thank you.
