The Aves come into this one at a pretty good price considering they are the much better team. The Aves play a good road game, going 5 games over .500 when playing away from home this season. Following their big Rantanen trade, they are 1-1 after putting up 5 goals on the Rangers in their latest game. New York is going to have to win this game by shutting down the Aves offense. They've got the goaltender to do it if Sorokin starts but that's a thin win path against a dangerous Colorado offense which ranks 5th in the league in scoring. The Islanders have been benefitting from some puck luck with a 4 game winning streak. They are feeling it right now but they shouldn't have won their last game against Carolina. The Hurricanes outplayed them but took a bad change in overtime and lost. Colorado is 6-4 in their last 10 against the Islanders.
