Tuesday, October 18, 2022 4:07 PM
Play: Point Spread: -1.5/135 New York Yankees
If you recall a season ago in the NBA, I started 3-0, 6-1, and 15-4. And I never looked back the entire NBA campaign. Today I have two big winners to tip-off the campaign in my 58-19-2 NBA VEGAS INSIDER MOVE & my legendary NBA SLAM DUNK WINNER. Get both & start the season off at 2-0. I have them posted right now for you.
Tuesday’s FREE WINNER: New York Yankees on the run line.
Game 958.
1:07 pm PT/4:07 pm ET
For today’s free winner let’s go to the American League Championship Series for Game 5 between the Guardians and the Yankees taking place in the Bronx. As any American League team will tell you, playing at Yankee Stadium is very tough. New York owned the best home record in the A.L. this season. It’s hard to win in the Bronx folks. It really is. As of right now, projected starters are Aaron Civale and Nelson Cortez jr. Civale was 5-6 with a 4.92 ERA in 20 regular season starts and is pitching for the first time since October 5th. He had a very, very difficult time against New York in 2022, going 0-2 with a 10.00 ERA in two regular season starts against the Yankees. Cortez was a very respectable 12-4 with a 2.44 ERA in the regular season. He owns a 1-0 record with an ERA of 2.50 in five regular-season appearances, which includes two starts versus the Guardians. And he did pitch just four days ago. I look for him to come in here a little bit fresher folks, for sure. Over the last three outings each starter has done well. However, it’s hard to overlook that the Guardians right-hander had trouble on the road this year, going 1-3 with a whopping ERA of 5.88 away from home. If you compare that to the Yankees starter here today, who was 6-1 with a 1.95 ERA in the Bronx this season, it really does put things in perspective. Cleveland has gone 3-7 against New York this season, with the Yankees taking five of the six meetings at Yankee stadium in 2022. Throw into the mix the Guardians are a lowly 1-6 the last seven road playoffs games and I’m going to stay with the Yankees here to close out this series in the Bronx with authority. By the way, New York has outscored Cleveland 25-12 at home and 53-28 overall this season. Take the Yankees on the run line. Thank you.
