Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Sunday, October 12, 2025 1:00 PM
Play: Point Spread: -5/-110 Pittsburgh Steelers
This is an early beat the line move play. I've not been a big Aaron Rodgers fan but we just saw Carson Wentz able to lead the Vikings to a win over the Browns despite him not being a very mobile quarterback. Cut from a similiar cloth in terms of mobility as Rodgers at this point. Gabriel was a lot better than expected against the Vikings but I think that is more the Vikings D being that bad. The Steelers are going to be a massive test for this rookie QB. They have forced 12 turnovers through 4 games this season. The Browns were able to protect the ball against the Vikings. I don't think they are going to have the same luck in this game. Steelers D hasn't been great and that's been the talk of the town but now they get a little more healthy with the rest week and they get an anemic Browns offense that hasn't scored more than 17 points in a game. The Browns are averaging 13.3 points in their last 3 games. With a rookie QB, I'm projecting that the Browns turn the ball over twice to the Steelers. That's a hard possession deficit to overcome. Steelers are coming off of a bye with a week of rest while the Browns are going to have a day of travel in there to get back from London. Rodgers has been getting the ball out quick and letting his weapons get up the field. Not something I think the Browns are going to be great at stopping as they will be trying to get pressure on Rodgers. I would not be surprised to see this line close around 6 for the Steelers. The home team is 7-0 in the last 7 between these teams with an average winning margin of 9. The Browns coach is 11-21 against the spread in divisional games.
