Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Cleveland Browns vs. Carolina Panthers
Sunday, September 11, 2022 1:00 PM
Play: Point Spread: -1/-110 Carolina Panthers
Nobody is sure to win this one, we have seen flashes of good things from the Panthers offense and Carolina has a good running game - that will keep the Browns defense tight to the line, and make the "revenge filled" Baker Mayfield much more deadly as a passer now that he is heathy plus McCaffery is playing. Cleveland needs to defend that running game, this is going to be tough. The Browns look to have some really good receivers, with rook David Bell and veteran Amari Cooper, who will look to be a new lethal combo for the Browns this season. Cleveland will realize that their lack of experience is an issue and their QB situation is a very real problem. Jacoby Brissett is just not a QB1, with a career 36 TD passes and a 14-23 record - and their QB2 is Joshua Dobbs who is even worse, he has only thrown 17 NFL passes in his career. Browns are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall and haven't won a season opener in 17 years. Take the Carolina Panthers here in this early Sunday kickoff.
