I think the Clemson defense will be the difference here in this one. Wake Forest has shown some tough offense - but they still need to play better defense - giving up 25+ in 2 games. Great schemes are great, but the players still have to execute. Clemson plays mean defense on the field - one that is always willing to push a bit harder when needed. Wake Forest really are going to have their work cut out for them - trying to find their place in the game. There are a few ways that this game can go, but I see Clemson getting the team into their rhythm faster. The Deacons will likely struggle early in the game and will tire out by the end of the 3Q chasing down the WRs of the Tigers. Wake Forest's DC needs to get something better stirred up - his schematics isn't going to cut it here. Tigers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 conference games and should cover this TD spread in the early kickoff on Saturday!
