The Bearcats are on the bubble and rank 42nd overall among the 353 Division-1 programs in the nation in my quant rankings. So, the pressure is on in each game from here on out to the end of the regular season. They know that they have resume building games coming up against the Wichita Stat Shockers and the Cougars in each of the next two weeks. The letdown cloud could move over the Bearcats in this game against the Pirates. The Pirates are not as bad a team as their record indicates. Newton has the size and length at 6-5 to overcome the Bearcats suffocating defense. This has been a rebuilding year for the Pirates as they have only 26.7% of the minutes played and 39.6% of the points scored returning from last season.
