Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Chicago Cubs vs. Milwaukee Brewers
Friday, June 26, 2026 7:45 PM
Play: Point Spread: -1.5/-125 Milwaukee Brewers
Joe D is ON FIRE in ALL SPORTS and today WE SCORCH THE BOOKS together: MLB (23-10 MLB RUN) GAME OF THE MONTH, MLB HOME RUN, and my WNBA (7-4 WNBA RUN) SLAM DUNK. Get them all, go 3-0, and SCORCH THE BOOKS. Milwaukee Brewers on the line. Game 906. 4:45 PM PST/7:45 PM EST. Possessing one of the best overall records in the Majors at 49-29, and owning one of the best home records in baseball as well, at 25-15 add American Family Field in 2026, the Brewers have taken complete control of the National League Central giving themselves a 6.5-game cushion. Just behind them in the division sits the Cubs at 44-37. I will tell you following a hit or miss (no pun intended) run, Chicago swept the New York four straight games in their last series. However, beating that opponent doesn’t impress me at all. They are a decent road team, going 21-20 away from home this season. And there’s no denying they own a very good lineup. But their pitching, at best has been mediocre. Milwaukee ranks third in scoring and second in team ERA. Speaking of which, today starters are expected to be Colin Rea and Jacob Misiorowski. The Cubs right-hander is 5-5 with a 4.99 ERA, with the team losing his last four appearances, as he is winless over his last three outings, going 0-2 with a whopping ERA of 7.98. On the road this season, he has struggled, going 3-4 with a 7.19 ERA. As a matter of fact, he has earned just one victory in his last eight appearances. The Brewers right-hander owns some very impressive numbers, going 8-3 with a 1.45 ERA this season. He has made 15 appearances thus far this season, and has yet to yield better than three earned runs. Over his last three outings, he has 2-1 with a 0.82 ERA, and at home, he is perfect at 4-0 with a 1.58 ERA. He already took down the Chicago back on May 19, holding them to just three hits and zero earned runs in 6.0 innings pitched. By the way, this team has dominated this rivalry, taking all three meetings this season, four straight, and seven of the last nine overall matchups against their division rival. The way they are hitting the ball, with today’s scheduled starters, and playing at home, all points to Milwaukee getting another big division victory. Take the Brewers. Thank you.
