They come off and embarrassing 19-point loss at the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. They’ve had three days to think about that humiliating defeat. Please take note that the last several times they dropped a game, they’ve come back not just a win, but to win big. Knowing the Chicago Bulls are a team that they will most-likely see in the postseason, they want this victory here tonight. And why not? They have taken nine of the last 10 meetings in the rivalry straight up, covering six of those 10. This includes the most recent, about three weeks ago. With Chicago coming off a big win last night against Toronto, look for them to be in a serious letdown here today as the last time they won game, they not only lost the next one, they lost the next three in a row, both straight up and against the spread. This team has been point spread poison for most of the season and things are getting worse lately, as they have only covered two of their last 11 outings. They are also 0-5 against the spread the last five games played versus teams with a winning percentage over .600, 5-16-1 against the spread the last 22 games played on the road, and 5-16 against the spread the last 21 games played as an underdog.
