The season certainly is still very young and yet it is already having the “feel” of a lost season for the Sixers. One disaster after another and first the Sixers were without Paul George and Joel Embiid but then finally got George back only to now lose Tyrese Maxey to injury for a period of weeks. Embiid is not back until Tuesday and the loss of an All-Star and a key playmaker like Maxey is a massive blow the 76ers could not afford right now. I know they are at home and I know George is available but Embiid and Maxey are not and this line is simply giving too much credit to a very short-handed 76ers team right now. Charlotte may not be a strong basketball team either but this Sixers team is a complete mess at the moment and does not deserve to be favored over anyone. Free Play Charlotte +4.5
