Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Central Florida vs. Iowa State
Tuesday, January 20, 2026 7:00 PM
Play: Point Spread: +14/-110 Central Florida
*5-1 NCAAB CURRENT RUN/18-9 NCAAB OVERALL RUN* Coming off another winning day in college hoops, we continue to BEAT THE BOOKS in NCAAB with 4 BIG WINNERS: MAC MONEYMAKER, 3-0 ACC ANNIHILATOR, 2-0 SEC SMASH, & 3-0 BIG 12 BLOCKBUSTER. Get them all, go 4-0, and BEAT THE BOOKS Tuesday’s FREE WINNER: Central Florida Knights. Game 619. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. I think the line might be a little off in this Big 12 matchup, my friends. Yes, Iowa State is 16-2 and currently ranks ninth in the nation. But let's be honest, this team has hit a snag over the last week or so. They have lost their last two outings, both road games mind you, but have lost their last two outings at the hands of Kansas and Cincinnati, badly. The Jayhawks took them down 84-63, while the Bearcats bested them 79-70. By the way, it was also their third consecutive no cover and their seventh no cover over the last nine games. I believe they're still being overvalued here. Yes, they are a perfect 10-0 at home this season, but I still feel the oddsmakers are overvaluing the Cyclones. Meanwhile, the Knights are playing some good basketball at 14-3 overall, which does include a 3-2 record in conference play. By the way, that's the same record as their opponent here today (wink wink nudge nudge). Iowa State has taken the three most recent matchups in this rivalry both SU and ATS. But I still feel they are being overvalued, my friends. Central Florida comes in here splitting out their last four games straight up, but (and there's always a but) but, they did play a very tough matchup just three days ago at home against Arizona, losing but covering the 9.5-pointspread. As a matter of fact, they have covered seven of their last 10 overall outings and have faced some solid opposition in doing so. Both teams account for approximately 85 PPG on offense, and both are strong from downtown, and on the boards, as well. Granted the cyclones are a bit stouter on the defensive side of the court. But both teams are monsters on the defensive glass. I think this game is going to be a lot closer than this large pointspread, and I feel the Knights are going to compete here quite well. Take Central Florida. Thank you.
