On Sunday, the MLB is showcasing a pretty solid matchup between the Boston Red Sox and the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field. The Texas Rangers are coming off of a 4-3 win to the Boston Red Sox on Saturday. Over on the Texas Rangers' side, Jacob deGrom will be taking the hill for the first time this year. deGrom went 0-0 last season with a 1.69 ERA and posted 14 strikeouts. deGrom has been excellent in his last 19 innings against the Boston Red Sox posting a 1.54 ERA. Trevor Story, Rafael Devers have combined to go 4 for 33 when taking on Jacob deGrom. Richard Fitts will take the hill for the first time this season. He went 0-1 with a 1.74 ERA last season. Adolis Garcia had a big game for the Rangers yesterday, hitting a home run and driving in in a couple runs with a double early. Both of these teams have bad bullpens but the Red Sox bats are much colder out of the gates and deGrom should be able to insulate the Rangers pen better. Take the Rangers to win on Sunday.
