But the Yankees have certainly gotten the better of the Red Sox of late, taking five of the last six meetings. This is the first matchup this season between these two American League East rivals. Boston enters this matchup struggling, losing seven of their last 10 outings, while New York has been consistent for most of the season, entering today’s series-opener winning seven of their last 10 games. There is no question the New York lineup scores more, and their pitching staff allows less. There's also the issue of Boston playing on the road, where they are 13-18, compared to New York's home record of 20-10. Walker Buehler and Will Warren are slated here today. Both pitchers come off just about their worst performances of the season. I expect New York to continue their explosion at the plate, while their eight-ranked pitching staff takes care of the rest. If this line was a little bit lower, I would've put out the Yankees as a premium play. Take New York. Thank you.
