Both Atlanta and St. Louis enter today’s matchup with identical, 2-1 records. Starting today are right-handers, Charlie Morton, and Jake Woodford. Despite an impressive career, Morton certainly has had trouble when facing the Cardinals. He is 3-12 with a 5.33 ERA in 20 career starts against them. Meanwhile, Woodford who a season ago saw 26 of his 27 appearances out of the bullpen, still was very solid, going 4-0 with a 2.23 ERA on the campaign.
