Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Atlanta Braves vs. Milwaukee Brewers
Friday, October 08, 2021 4:37 PM
Play: Money Line: 140 Atlanta Braves
Atlanta came on strong in the second half and took the NL East with 88-73 record and the Brewers had a solid year winning the NL Central with a 95-67 year. Atlanta was 46-35 on the road and Milwaukee went 45-36 at home. In the regular season six games these two teams split each winning three with the Braves winning two of three in Milwaukee. The pitching match up is a dandy with 37 year old veteran Morton for Atlanta and 26 year old Burns for Milwaukee. Morton went 14-6 with a 3.34 ERA this season and was 8-3 on the road with a 3.06 ERA. Morton went 0-1 against Milwaukee allowing two runs over six innings. Morton is 7-3 in his career in the postseason with a 4.15 ERA. Burnes went 11-5 with a 2.43 ERA this season with a home record of 4-4 despite a 2.85 ERA. Burnes pitched once against Atlanta this season and didn't get a decision, but did allow five runs over four innings with a .429 batting average against. Burnes has pitched just once in the postseason in 2018 allowing two runs over nine innings, four hits, one walk and 11 strikeouts. Look for a good pitchers duel with some offense as the Braves hold off the Brewers winning 5-4 to take the first game of this series. Play Atlanta
