Green Bay Packers vs. Kansas City Chiefs (NFL) - 8:00 PM EDT

Pick: Point Spread: -6/-102 Kansas City Chiefs Pick Title: Tom Stryker's NFL Pre-Season Game of the Year
Loss

Off back-to-back straight up wins including an impressive blowout of Indianapolis, Green Bay has to feel pretty good about itself right now. The offensive is moving the football and putting up points at will and the defense is shutting people down. With all of their starters at 100 percent (outside LB Clay Matthews does have an ankle), the last thing the Cheeseheads want to do is lose someone they'll be counting on in the regular season at Kansas City in their exhibition finale!
The same can't be said about the Chiefs. Kansas City has produced a dismal 4-21 SU and 3-22 ATS record in its last 25 NFLX battles including a woeful 0-3 SU and ATS mark this year. After going winless in 2009's preseason run, the Chiefs do NOT want to post a goose egg in the NFLX win column this season!
Technically speaking, there is a solid system that supports Kaycee on Thursday night. Since 1983, exhibition favorites are a profitable 20-10-1 ATS provided they check in off exactly three straight up losses. If our "play on" side is matched up against an opponent that arrives with momentum off a straight up win, this system tightens up to a stellar 9-2 SU and ATS!
Green Bay's starters will play only one series inside Arrowhead and then call it a night. The Chiefs don't want to go into the regular season off another winless exhibition run. This game means a heckuva lot more to Kaycee than it does GB. Even the pointspread is indicative of that fact. Lay the lumber with Kansas City. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.
USC vs. Hawaii (NCAAF) - 11:00 PM EDT

It’s sure going to be different watching the Men of Troy and not seeing good ‘ol Pete Carroll on the sidelines. After a stressful season, Carroll decided to take his leadership talents to the NFL and he’s focused on getting things turned around in Seattle right now.
Former Tennessee skipper Lane Kiffin will take over at USC. Controversy has followed Kiffin lately and there are a few question marks surrounding his head coaching abilities. Fortunately for us, it won’t take much for Southern Cal to beat this hapless Hawaii team.
The Rainbows do return five starters on offense and seven on defense from a team that posted a 6-7 campaign in 2009. Unfortunately, Hawaii hasn’t come close in its last three meetings against USC losing by finals of 63-17 in 2005, 61-32 in 2003 and 62-7 in 1999! That’s an average beating of 62-19! To make matters worse, the Trojans have been tough to beat in their first true road game of the season notching a powerful 21-8-1 SU and 19-10-1 ATS record dating back to 1980 including a spotless 7-0 SU and 6-0-1 ATS in this role favored by double-digits.
There is a strong college system that supports USC too. Since 1980, game one road favorites priced at -10 or more are a decent 61-39-1 ATS provided they’re matched up against an opponent that is playing their season opener as well. If our “play on” side won eight or more games last year and is tackling a foe that won at least three or more game last season, this technical gem improves to a powerful 31-12 ATS! The Men of Troy fit this general situation and the awesome tightener perfectly.
The Trojans are currently on probation by the NCAA and they can’t play in a bowl game for the next two seasons. Rest assured, new coach Kiffin will use that fact as motivation on a weekly basis. With regards to the talent level, Southern Cal owns the stallions and Hawaii has the ugly ponies. The Men of Troy’s climb back to the top of college football starts with a blowout in Honolulu. Take USC! Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.

The last four games of the NFL regular season can mean everything to those teams still in the playoff hunt and nothing to the others that have already been eliminated. Novice handicappers could experience a great deal of financial stress at this time of the year. The Las Vegas line is usually inflated on those squads still battling for playoff position. 50 is the Magic Number - By Tom Stryker
Over the years, I’ve come across a ton of scoring angles. Some are good, some aren’t. The one I’m about to break down for you is one of my best.
It’s simplistic in approach. All I wanted to see was how well a reasonably priced home favorite did after a solid offensive performance on foreign soil. As you know, momentum is huge when it comes to handic ... read more
Play: Point Spread: 11/-105 Purdue Play Title: Tom Stryker's Free College Football Play
Notre Dame is going to be a good football team by the end of the season. New head coach Brian Kelly has done a phenomenal job getting the Fighting Irish back into good physical shape and they’re starting to find confidence they never really had under former coach Charlie Weis. Unfortunately, in this battle for the coveted Shillelagh Trophy, Purdue will provide the rebuilding Irish team with a tremendous challenge.
It won’t be tough for the Boilermakers to find motivation for this game. If you recall, ND QB Jimmy Clausen hit TE Kyle Rudolph for a touchdown pass with 25 ticks left on the clock as the Irish escaped Ross-Ade Stadium last year with a stunning 24-21 victory.
According to the history book, the Boilers are an ugly 1-13 SU in their last 14 visits to Notre Dame Stadium. That fact is noted. However, this Purdue team really started to peak as 2009 ended picking up victories in four of its last six games. One of those wins came against a Ohio State team that could very easily be one of 2010’s best programs. I’ve got a hunch that momentum will carry over and the Boilermakers will be able to find some success against a UND team that has installed new schemes on both sides of the ball.
There are technical reasons that support this investment too. Notre Dame has really struggled as a home favorite posting a weak 30-51-1 ATS record including just 4-12 ATS in this role matched up against a Big 10 foe. As a double-digit favorite, the Irish have lost their fight notching a bankroll-busting 5-13 ATS mark including just 2-11 ATS in their last 13 at home in this role. On the visitor’s side of the field, Purdue has found success priced as a touchdown dog (+7) or more posting a reliable 33-22 ATS mark including a perfect 7-for-7 in this role in non-conference action.
The Irish have come favored 24 times against Big 10 foes dating back to 1994 and were only able to cash five winning tickets. The Boilermakers haven’t forgotten about last year’s near miss and they’ll be out for a little payback on Saturday afternoon. Grab all the points you can here men! Take Purdue! Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.
