Taking Tulsa here in a big way. Tulsa should have a prolific offense with QB GJ Kinne, WR Damaris Johnson and RB Charles Clay. They also have a solid defense to slow teams down. A huge revenge game after getting blitzed by ECU 44-17 late last year. This isn't the same Pirates team with new HC Ruffin McNeil takes over a depleted roster with just 5 returning starters. Thats the fewest in the college ranks. Taking the Wildcats here. This Vandy team will be very bad this year. Their HC Bobby Johnson, abruptly retires over the summer. Never a good sign and they have had a rash of injuries on both sides of the ball. Now, Northwestern shouldn't be confused with one of the Big 10s premier teams, they are breaking in a new QB. The offense will do enough to get them off to a quick start with a weak schedule, but the defense is the strength of this team.
