Under 51 BSU/VT: Two teams that have stars on offense but that really win games with their defense. BSU shut down some really high powered offenses in ORE and TCU last season. VT defense lost some stars but they always find a way to hang their hat on the D. Really think early in this game we will see the defenses surprise the offenses. Late in the game we will see some scoring but not enough to push this over this highly inflated line.

MIN -1.5 (even): finally an easy layup that we have been waiting on. Slowley is great at home and even better against KC. is 5-1 with a 2.77 ERA in six starts against the Royals. He is coming off DL so will most likely only go 6 inning but the bullpen should take over from their. KC have the lowest runs scored of any teams since beginning of AUG as well. Best news though is O'Sullivan starting for KC. He has been horrible going 0-4 with a 6.75 ERA in seven outings since coming in trade. Love MIN to continue rolling as they have really been pounding the ball. ENJOY Easy R/L win.

BSU -101: The biggest game of weekend and its all on the line for one team. BSU must win this or this season is really going to be for nothing. Plus BSU is known for their early season great starts. VT lost a ton on defense whereas BSU has nearly all starters back. Take note as usually VT special teams rule, but BSU are very solid in this area. Will be a great game but BSU wins in the end.

TT -13.5: new coach for TT still same spread offense so expect a ton of points. Good news is TT defense will improve as Tuberville is looking to change their ways. Plus TT at home are great to open the season ATS going 3-1 ATS L4 chances. SMU loses best RB and WR. Plus the defense gave up a ton of points and look to be maybe worse this year. Will lay the points no problem here.

913 HOU -101: The Astros have been one of the hottest teams winning 8 of last 11 games. Even better Happ has won 3 of last 4 starts. Happ has got better over each month of the season and is coming off his best start of the year. Lopez is just the opposite for ARI as he has not won in over a month and its not been close. HOU is just hot and we are going to ride the better pitcher and hot team.

LSU -3: this was going to be a really good game and then all the distractions came for UNC. This UNC team is a talented defense but still have some major issues on offense. On the other side LSU is loaded on both offense and defense. Les Miles is on the hot seat a little but he will have the SEC Tigers coming out on top by a ton. Early in the season the talent and athletes win over coaching so LSU wins easy.

MISSOURI -12: Pretty simple here RON ZOOK is a terrible coach. Last year ILL was favored and still were killed by MIZZOU. Look for Missouri offense to be even better than the impressive year of 2009. Defensively the Tigers might not be quite as good as last year but with the terrible offense of ILL it won't take much. Easy win here as MISSOURI continues the domination of this series!

Or St +14: no respect for the Rodgers brothers. Plus we saw how the TCU offense struggled against good teams the last two years. Yes TCU defense was good last year but they lost nearly half their quality players. OSU will keep this close and maybe even pull off an upset.

CIN +2.5: we nailed cincy last year in opening game with very easy winner. Tonight will be the same. New coach but same offense as Colathers and the offense carry a much better team in CINCY. CIN might be better this year on offense and defense will be improved as well.

Under 7.5: both these pitchers Jurugens and J Johnson can throw 0's up for 8 at least. Think today both offenses will struggle as these power pitchers strike out near double digits. Under on this one as Johnson continues his domination of ATL hitters this year.
