Throughout the years this game has been a perennial note mark for all who have interest in both power house schools as well as BCS observers. However, due to the plethora of rules Lane Kiffin and his staff have broken along with the haunting memory Reggie Bush, the "Heisman Trophy Winner" back during USC's glory days has left behind, we are being awarded just a quality football game between two Pac-12 teams.

USC has a future first round draft pick in QB Matt Barkley who has improved every time he has taken the field. RB Marc Tyler has been very solid for this team, he's brought a versatile style to a once one dimensional offense. Now, while those two stars will have every opportunity to play on Sunday's, the player to watch in this game will be the Trojans super talented wide receiver in Robert Woods. The sophomore sensation has caught 55 passes for 747 yards and 6 TDs through the first five games. He is an instant match up problem for whoever is unlucky enough to be covering him. Expect USC to try and spread the field against a Cal secondary that has struggled this year at times.

California takes the field tonight and rest assure, they will not be lacking for talent on the field. Their QB Zach Maynard has an 11 TD to 3 INT ratio. A big reason for that is his star wide out Keenan Allen who has collected 661 passing yards and 4 TDs so far this year. As prolific as that combination can be, the Bears go as their featured back goes. Isi Sofele is a bolt of lightning that moves at rapid speed. He has 494 rushing yards, 4 TDs and a 5.5 YPC average through the first five games this season. Look for the Bears to establish the run early and for them to turn this game into a classic shootout.

Bank on a lot of offensive fire power with little defense to speak of.
