The Rocketman Line CFB Week 3 2010

“THE ROCKETMAN LINE” WEEK 3 College Football 2010 This week we will continue with our introduction to the “Rocketman Line.” This is the first time I’ve actually put all my Rocketman Line information out for public display. What is the Rocketman line? Glad you asked. I keep a running set of power ratings for each team in every sport. These are updated each day at the completion of the games. Since we’re talking College Football, I’ll use CFB as an example. I take my power ratings and compare the two teams who are facing each other adding a home field advantage of a little over 3 points. This creates the Rocketman Line. This is the start of my College Football Handicapping. From there I compare my Rocketman line against the Las Vegas number and look to see how they differ. Let’s get into the Rocketman line for all the College Football games this weekend and you can see what I’m talking about. Then you take these lines and compare them to the Las Vegas lines. Cincinnati by 1.75 NC State Kansas by 6.5 Southern Miss California by 7.7 Nevada Arkansas Georgia by 8.44 Maryland West Virginia by 10.79 Iowa State Kansas State by 7.12 Ball State Purdue by 13.46 Northern Illinois Illinois by 9.81 Connecticut by 5.69 Temple Ohio Ohio State by 34.29 Kent State Penn State by 27.86 Georgia Tech by 1.07 North Carolina Vanderbilt Mississippi by 13.03 East Carolina Virginia Tech by 17.77 San Diego State Missouri by 18.61 Tulsa Oklahoma State by 14.11 Alabama by 23.25 Duke Hawaii Colorado by 1.81 BYU Florida State by 2.87 Colorado State Miami Ohio by 7.48 Florida by 13.46 Tennessee Southern Cal by 11.75 Minnesota Washington State SMU by 13.05 Arizona State Wisconsin by 6.3 Nebraska by 4.73 Washington Louisville Oregon State by 14.41 Air Force Oklahoma by 11.53 Central Michigan by 15.11 Eastern Michigan Baylor TCU by 19.4 Marshall Bowling Green by 2.57 Navy by 10.72 Louisiana Tech Central Florida by 4.24 Buffalo Akron Kentucky by 26.34 Toledo Western Michigan by 5.78 Clemson Auburn by 2.06 Texas by 4.59 Texas Tech Northwestern by 6.78 Rice Mississippi State LSU by 14.47 Utah by 27.3 New Mexico Fresno State by 6.74 Utah State Notre Dame Michigan State by 4.92 Boise State by 19.04 Wyoming New Mexico State UTEP by 11.41 UNLV by 1.08 Idaho Iowa Arizona by .88 Houston by 5.15 UCLA Wake Forest Stanford by 9.9 Indiana by 11.27 Western Kentucky North Texas Army by 7.2 Louisiana Monroe Arkansas State by 1.12 Florida International Texas A&M by 23.02 Middle Tennessee State by 6.52 Memphis Troy by 9.73 UAB This will give you a little starting point for this weekend’s games. Keep in mind that a lot of factors go into handicapping a game, not just power ratings or the Rocketman Line. I have won 13 of 14 seasons in football with this being my 15th year in the business. Join me right now and WIN BIG Thanks and best of luck this weekend, Rocky Atkinson Rocketman Sports
