Ok, sports fans, we have just passed the half-way point in the MLB. The LA West has Texas leading the way, over a "game" LA team. Detroit, Cleveland, and Chicago are being fighting it out to decide the AL Central. The toughest division in baseball is surely the AL East. As of print, only 1 game separates Boston from New York. The NL West is looking like it is between San Francisco and Arizona. The rest of the division is all full of teams that are known as "under-achievers." The NL Central looks like it is between Milwaukee and St. Louis. And the NL East is certainly looking like Philly (7 games ahead in 1st place) is the team to beat. Here is the breakdown of teams to take it all. The "Top 3" teams are Philly (2-1), Boston (14-5), and New York (5-1). San Francisco has dropped to 8-1, Milwaukee is 12-1, Arizona is 25-1, Cleveland is 15-1, and Pittsburgh is 25-1. These are the top "odds-on" favorites in the MLB. Pre-season favorites, like the Indian's are now down to 60-1. The Dodger's are now 200-1 from, 30-1, despite that they are in the MLB elite, rising from 325-1 to 30-1.The Marlin's are down from 35-1 to 325 -1. The A's fell from 40-1 down to 300-1.The Padre's fell from 40-1 to 250-1. The Cubs lessened from 40-1 to 600-1. The Met's lowered from 50-1 to 325-1. The Astro's slid from 100-1 to 900-1.The National's went from 100-1 to 325-1. The Oriole's skid from 100-1 to 900-1 and the Royal's dropped from 200-1 all the way down to 450-1. There have been a slew of surprises this season. The Phillies', Red Sox, and Yankee's are the top 3 "odds-on" favorites right now. In this MLB game, you can't count out solid teams like the Ranger's, Giant's, Brave's, Brewer's, and Diamond-Back's. The Rockies's, Dodger's, Marlin's, A's, Padre's, Cub's, Met's, Blue Jay's, Astros's, National's, Oriole's, and Royal's are the "street-smart," odds-wise "value" plays. These are teams that, (no matter what) are "live." If you get a good price and a solid situation, then you need to take them. Sports fans, remember that this isn't about wins and losses but it comes down to money management. It always comes down to how much you have in your pocket at the end of the week. Any one can bet on the '27 Yankee's but that doesn't make you smart or rich. Remember that baseball is 7 days a week, from April through October. This is never about how much you win today, but how much you end up banking at the end of the season. Think about it, it isn't about if you get some on the first date but if you get it all on one of the first part of the dates. Anyone can get lucky and go 2-0 on any given day but it is the bettor that goes 65% throughout the MLB season that gets paid. I can and will do that for you. This is always about profits. Just because the NFL and NCAAF seem to be the "most-popular," that doesn't define football as the most lucrative. It is just the most popular.
