SEC EAST PREVIEW

The SEC as with the BCS is Florida's to lose.

1 FLORIDA (18 returning starters) - What is there to say? The BCS is theirs to lose.

2 GEORGIA (15 returning startes) - HC Mark Richt is best under the radar. And this talented will be since it lost its QB and RB. They opened with a loss on the road in Okie St. The talent, skill and coaching level is elite, but the leagues is Floridas to lose.

3 TENNESSEE (13 returning starters) New HC Lane Kiffin is really endearing himself to the SEC community. This guy just has to shut his mouth. The program itself will continue to get good recruits. After Tebow graduates they have a shot.

4 SOUTH CAROLINA (11 returning starters) The glow is off Spurrier. At least there isn't much expected from the Gamecocks this year.

5 VANDERBILT (17 returning starters) - Vandy brings back an experienced bunch, but the talent isn't there to compete with the powerhouses.

6 KENTUCKY (11 returning starters) - I can't even see this team being favored in any of its SEC games. Maybe against Miss. State. They can score but the D needs some work.

SEC WEST

1 MISSISSIPPI (16 returning starters) - This bunch is coming together. We had them in their big win over the Gators. They are a trendy pick this season. They should win out and meet FLA in the title game. Rebels get both LSU and Bama at home.

2 ALABAMA (13 returning starters) - HC Nick Sabaen brings back another loaded team. Though they have lost some pop on the offensive side of the ball. The D is as good as advertised. Already a good non-con win posting 30+ against Va Tech. They do have to travel to Ole Miss which is why we have them at 2.

3 LSU (14 returing starters) - Another talent bunch out of the West. LSU has the toughest schedule of the 3 as they go to Ole Miss, have Bama at home, but then face both Georgia and the Gators out of the East.

4 ARKANSAS (18 returning starters) -HC Bobby Petrino enters his second year and they should be better than there 5-7 record last season. Should be bowl eligible.

5 AUBURN (15 returning starters) - New HC Gene Chizik comes over from Iowa State. He inherits a solid club with talent. They should make a bowl.

6 MISSISSIPPI STATE (10 returning starters) - A long rebuilding year in Starkville. When you have Florida, Ole Miss, Bama at home, you know its going to be a long year.
