2010 NFL TOP 10 POWER RANKINGS WK 6

1- New York Jets (4-1) O-line and defense are fantastic. Sanchez looks better than last year.

2-Baltimore Ravens (4-1) Ravens running game is getting back to where they expect it to be.

3- Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1) Ben returns to a team that has the best defense in NFL (12.5 ppg)

4-Atlanta Falcons (4-1) Falcons have it on all cylinders with the most underrated WR Roddy White.

5-New England Patriots (3-1) Any team with Brady is going to compete, let’s not count them out yet.

6- Chicago Bears (4-1) With utility back Matt Forte filling in the role perfectly, they can be dangerous.

7- Indianapolis Colts (3-2) A slower start than we’re used to, but Peyton still puts up points.

8-Green Bay Packers (3-2) Slipping, they need to improve quickly, if they plan on staying here.

9- New York Giants (3-2) Couple big wins against top teams, NYG look like they’re getting it together

10- Houston Texans (3-2) Losing 2 of last 3, panic may settle in on Houston, how will they rebound.

NFL POW (PLAYER OF THE WEEK)

Michael Bush (RB, Oakland Raiders) the 3rd year running back carried the ball 26 times for 104 yards, Scoring 1 touchdown, also catching 3 receptions for 31 yards. Playing against division rival San Diego Chargers, winning 35-27 with astonishing first win over them Chargers in 7 years. The AFC West certainly has taken some interesting turns along the way, thus far in the season, with everyone chasing the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hard-hitting matchups this week to watch for; Miami at Green Bay (The Dolphins matching up against the Packers in Lambeau Field. Going to interesting, if the fish win, Pack can take a serious slip in their division), Baltimore at New England (The Patriots want payback for last years beating they took by the Ravens in New England. Let’s see if the Pats can do it after the big trade of Moss. Ravens look like a whole package right now.), Atlanta at Philadelphia (If Vick is playing, this game is even bigger on the games to watch list, simply because we like those stories. Vick is playing at a high level, much improved than what he was when in Atlanta, Philly is one of the highest scoring teams in their division, the Falcons are one of the best defense teams in theirs, and something has to give.)

Kansas City at Houston (The much improved Chiefs played very well against the Colts in a losing effort. Texans looked dreadful in their loss to the NYG, I also think the passing game of the Chiefs will come around against the porous covering Texans, who tend to give up a ton of yards in the air, every week.) Dallas at Minnesota (Another rematch of last year’s playoffs this week, last season, the Vikes drubbed the Boys when they came into Minnesota, blasting Romo what seemed like 5 dozen times. And against the Titans, the O-line troubles continued when they sacked Romo 6 times. Both teams critically need this win, who wants it more?)
