In this NBA playoff piece we will look at home teams who have double revenge. Home teams in the NBA Playoffs since 1990 have been a solid investment, when returning home off back to back losses. We will examine a system that is based on this premise to improve our chances at beating the books.

What we want to do is play on any NBA Playoff home team that is off back to back losses, if they won and covered the game prior to the losses. Long term these homers win close to 60%. We can add some filters to increase the percentages by insisting the home team is coming in off a double digit loss and a loss of at least 5 points in the first of the two losses. Now we are getting into some higher echelon percentages. In fact all teams who qualify in the above filters are 46-19 straight up and cover close to 70%. I have some additional filters that can get to the high 80 to low 90/S percentile.

Those plays get released as late phone plays. You can never go wrong however, by just using the basic system with the above filters. What happens in these games is the home team comes home and gives their best effort as they know their season hangs in the balance. Couple that with the enthusiasm of a loud home crowd and we have Revenge of the menu. Our home team usually serves it up on a cold platter. Look for these home team spot plays later in the week in the first round and even in the later rounds. Good Luck with all your wagers this playoff season.
