In 2010, I had a decent CBB season hitting 54% of my plays and turning a +1455 good for 4th overall here on VTD.

Since the start of January 1st, 2011, my CBB record here stands at 114-138-4.

As I look closer at my numbers this CBB season, I see that since the start of 2011, I have lost an incredible amout of close games. In fact, 42 of those losses have been by a half point to 4 points. Now, my numbers are off of when I put out my plays here and I know that people may have lost a couple, but also may have won or pushed a few.

Bottomline is that when you are getting squeezed like that, it is a pretty crappy feeling. Worse though for me is that there are people following my selections. For every 4* play or 10* Top Play I lose, it hurts. I don't like losing money. And I sure as hell don't like losing others theirs. And to lose the way that it has happened is flat out painful. I feel like I am covered in papercuts and am showering in lemon juice.

I am sure there are close wins in my total. But I can't possibly think that there would be another 40+ games in that scoring range.

Maybe. Maybe my numbers just have been off those couple points and I am just having one of those nightmare years on the hardwood.

Either way, you always know where you stand with me Win or Lose. This is just one of those seasons for me that has taken about 4 years off my life and makes me work even harder for this stretch run of Tournament action.. Enough of my rambling, lets talk some Madness.

Look at this 68 team bracket. What a joke! 25 teams with 10 or more losses, not even counting the 4 teams in the 'play in' games. What, like 10 of those with 13 or more. I can forgive your Auto Bid teams like Boston U or Akron. No problems at all with those guys putting on their dancing shoes.

Do we really need 19-13 Illinois or 19-14 Michigan State. Hey, Team Sparty has cost me dearly this season. I though those clowns would be in the Final Four, but come on..19-14!! I will take the Penn State 19-14 who at least are playing some inspired ball. Can we get rid of 'Nova please. This team has been sleepwalking for a month now.

You expand the At-Large Bids. Can we can get someone other than a power conference. Why not Harvard? I know they got blitzed by UCONN, but they lost by 3 Michigan and played GMason tough before letting it slip away. How about Wichita State or Missouri State out of the Valley. The Valley is a tough conference. Plenty of defense, tough home courts. How about Cleveland State. Another team that worked its ass off in the Horizon League. What about Valpo, another mid-major with a solid year. The Coaches Insider Tournament.
